Arthur L. Ross - from Costa Mesa, CA lives in NY pursuing his Broadway and Professional Acting Career. Education: MFA in Acting from UNLV & B.A.C. from BGSU


Experience: Adjunct Faculty member at Cypress College in the Theatre and Dance Department teaching Hip-Hop & Tap Dance while choreographing and directing numerous Department Productions from 2008-2014, an AGVA Principal Performer at Universal Studios Hollywood in the Blues Brothers R&B Revue, Atmosphere Dancer and Improv-Face Character for over 7 years.

Chelsea Groen



Chelsea is a performer, teaching artist, and personal trainer based in NYC. She won a National Youth Theatre award for her choreography for Star2Bs GREASE, co directed LES MISERABLES Jr. as well as directed and choreographed their recent production of LION KING KIDS. Chelsea has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan as well as a minor in Social Work. As a performer, she is the recipient of Actor’s Equity Association’s RODGER STURTEVANT AWARD for “demonstrating outstanding talent and skill as a Musical Theatre performer.” She has starred Off Broadway in FIORELLO to critical acclaim, as well as regionally with Theatre By the Sea, Berkshire Theatre Group (Berkshire on Stage Award nomination), Theatre Aspen, The MUNY, Phoenix Theatre, The Ogunquit Playhouse, Arizona Broadway Theatre, etc. She absolutely ADORES teaching, directing, and working with kids- especially at Star2B- and is so honored to be a part of this amazing family!! Proud AEA member, wife, and dog mom.

Amy is thrilled to be part of the Star 2 Be family! She made her Broadway debut in Holiday Inn the New Irving Berlin Musical which she originated at the Goodspeed Opera House.


National Tour: Elf the Musical (Madison Square Garden). Amy has countless regional credits. Favorites include: Papermill Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, The St Louis MUNY, and Maltz Jupiter Playhouse. Proud Point Park University graduate. 

Jane bruce


Jane Bruce is a NYC based Actor/Singer/Musician currently pursuing a professional career in the arts. She graduated from the prestigious Musical Theatre program at the University of Michigan, and has since worked professionally all over the country. Favorite credits include the new musical "Theory of Relativity" at Goodspeed Opera House, the regional premiere of "Bridges of Madison County" at Arkansas Repertory Theater, the national tour of "Elf: The Musical", and the immersive Kerrigan and Lowdermilk party-musical "The Bad Years". Jane can also be seen on Jessica Jones, I, Witness, and I Love You...But I Lied. Jane is about to release a self titled EP of her original music, and she is thrilled to share her tunes with the world. Jane loves nothing more than sharing the craft she's so passionate about with young people, who continue to remind her why she started doing any of it in the first place. Jane believes that teaching a student to be fearless, vulnerable and completely themselves in their creative work is an invaluable tool in any creative capacity and far beyond. Go Star 2B!!

Patrick Hoagland

Music Director

Patrick is a professional musical director based in the Hudson valley. Some of his favorite credits include Hello Dolly, Pirates of Penzance, Nunsense, Les Miserables, Brigadoon, The Sound of Music, The Secret Garden, Rent, Footloose, Man of La Mancha, and Hairspray. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, with dual degrees in composition and film scoring. His original compositions have been performed by The Esterhazy Quartet, the Tenuto Chamber Singers, and the ALEA III ensemble. He has written orchestrations and arrangements on commission for the Rhode Island Philharmonic orchestra and numerous other groups. For two years he served as musical director and accompanist at the Sugarloaf Performing Arts Center’s national award winning theatrical academy, and is thrilled to be sharing his love of musical theater with children and young adults at Star 2 B.

Donald BirelY


Donald currently lives in New York City. His Directorial favorites include Irene (25th Anniversary Concert), The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Victor Victoria, Once Upon a Mattress, Godspell and 9 to 5. As a performer he has toured the U.S. in productions of Annie, Oklahoma!, Carousel and Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Mr. Birely has directed Smokey Joes Café, Bye Bye Birdie and Funny Girl for the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, New York. Donald can be heard on the BMG/RCA recording of Yeston/Kopit's Phantom. Mr. Birely is the founder of DB Productions - an entertainment company specializing in musical groups and costume rental.

Liz Tancredi


Liz is an actor and teaching artist based in NYC. A few favorite New York and regional acting credits include These Seven Sicknesses and Restoration Comedy at The Flea Theatre (both drama desk nominated), Rough Crossing, Failure: A Love Story, and One Man, Two Guvnors (Cape Rep Theatre), The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui (Under St. Marks), Into the Woods (Thin Air Theatre Co.), Measure for Measure (Roxy Regional Theatre), Comedy of Errors (Anthem Theatre Co.), Icarus: an Americana Musical (The Oberon at A.R.T.), Babes in Arms and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Berkshire Theatre Group). She is also a leading role in the websieres "City of Mercy". Liz has worked as a director and choreographer for youth theaters since 2011 across New York and Massachusetts (her beloved home state). She received her BFA in Drama from Syracuse University where she also studied and performed at Shakespeare's Globe in London. She is particularly passionate about physical storytelling and dance parties, and believes the performing arts give young people the tools need to design the rest of their lives!
